Our annual pot-luck Parish Picnic will take place on Sunday, August 24th at the home of Bill and Lorna Firstbrook. The events begins about noon, following our 10:00 a.m. service. An art exhibit in the Firtsbrook's Barn will feature paintings for show or sale by parishioners and other local artists with 20% of proceeds to St. George's. Directions to the Firstbrook farm will be provided in the order-of-service bulletin, or contact the church office.

Blessing of the Animals August 31st

There will be a blessing of the animals on the church lawn beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31st, weather permitting. If it rains, the event will take place one week later, on Sept. 7th.

Men's Fellowship Breakfasts Resume Sept. 13th

Men's Club breakfasts featuring interesting guest speakers are held at 8:00 a.m. on the second Saturday in each month from September through May. All men in the congregation are welcome as are guests. The Men's Club breakfasts will resume after the summer break on September 13th. with Canon Stephen Haig recounting his visit to the Holy Land.

Special Visitors' Sunday on Sept. 21

There will be a very special welcome for visitors at both services on Sunday, Sept. 21st. Please bring a friend and encourage as many visitors as possible to attend.
